Invite 3 glassy friends to the challenge and tag #GSOIClimateChallenge. Let’s all learn and motivate each other to make small changes which help to make a difference in our field. \nThe event will launch from Feb 1st — but let’s keep it going for the entire Year of Glass 2022! \nAnd remember: the simplest change you can make in your glass studio can make a huge difference. \n

SUMMARY:Glass Ireland 2021 publication launch
DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite all of our GSOI members to join us in our first event for 2022. We are delighted to announce the launch of Glass Ireland\, our annual publication. The event will take place on Zoom allowing friends and associates from around the world to join us. \nThis year we had nineteen contributors Irish and international\, and we were honoured to have voices from across studio practice\, education\, curation and research\, illustrating the breadth and possibility in our sector.  \nOur Editor Dr Fiona Byrne will introduce some of our new voices and contributors. You will also get a sneak peek into this year’s publication in advance of receiving your copy in the post. There will be ample time for audience participation\, so pop a cork or put on the kettle and join us in celebrating Glass Ireland 2021 and the start of the GSOI year.  \nThis event is open to everyone so please feel free to share. We do ask that those who are not GSOI members register at Eventbrite so that we know who will be in attendance.  \nMore information will be available in the next Glass Gossip newsletter.
