SUMMARY:Frameworking Essentials
DESCRIPTION:Flameworking Essentials is a two day workshop for people who want to learn methods and techniques of working at a bench torch with Borosilicate glass. The class will cover the basics of working with solid rod and hollow tubes. Participants will have the opportunity to learn flameworking skills and techniques that will allow them to experimentally play\, practice and construct with glass at the torch. Techniques will include gathering\, shaping\, stretching\, sculpting\, bridging and blowing The working day will be structured around demonstrations and plenty of individual practice at the torch. There will be individual guidance. The class will be focused on exploration and investigation rather than finished products.
