DESCRIPTION:Treat your Mammy to a lovely morning making a stained glass lightcatcher. If your Mam is hard to buy for or “doesn’t want anything ” then this short taster class could be just the thing.  \nWe will start the class by selecting some precut glass shapes and arrange them into an abstract lightcatcher. Then we will solder the pieces together adding a hook and patina to finish it off.  \nYour Mam will have had a lovely morning learning a new skill and she’ll get to take away a lightcatcher she made herself. \nAll Mammies and non-Mammies welcome!

SUMMARY:Favourite Glass Painting and Printing Techniques for Stained Glass - Joseph Cavalieri
DESCRIPTION:New York artist Joseph Cavalieri will give a special one day class at Glint to share his four favourite processes for adding images onto stained glass. Techniques learned and practiced in class include painting\, penning \, air-brushing and silk-screening using a pre-made silk screen Joseph will bring to class. Pre mixed enamels are applied to stained glass\, then fired in a kiln. Many of samples will be made for you to incorporate in your future stained glass works. No need to be a professional painter\, as we will be tracing images. \nIf you are new to stained glass or a seasoned professional this class will appeal to you. Framing\, lighting will be discussed in class\, along with a “Marketing for Artists” and “Advice on Art Residencies” lecture. \nNumbers limited. \nDates: Sunday\, 27th of March and Monday 28th of March 2022
