Fused Glass Workshop on Mondays at Four

This two-and-a-half hour workshop will fulfil your desire to try out Fused Glass or to improve your skill if you have already had a taster session. It does not require any previous experience but does require close-toed shoes to be worn. All sessions will use sheet and accessory glass, along with inclusions. You will create 2 final pieces which, when fired, will become coasters, suncatchers, part of a framed piece, tea-lights or pieces for a stand. All tuition, equipment, materials and firing are included in the price. A £10.00 upgrade on the day of the workshop will enable you to work with larger pieces, should you wish, and allow you to produce a slumped piece (which requires two firings), eg, a bowl or dish.

The venue will be on the North Coast of Ireland in The Boat House Gallery and Workshops (close to The Giant’s Causeway). The final kiln-fired pieces can be collected from the studio approximately one week after the workshop or posted by arrangement.
