Favourite Glass Painting and Printing Techniques for Stained Glass – Joseph Cavalieri

New York artist Joseph Cavalieri will give a special one day class at Glint to share his four favourite processes for adding images onto stained glass. Techniques learned and practiced in class include painting, penning , air-brushing and silk-screening using a pre-made silk screen Joseph will bring to class. Pre mixed enamels are applied to stained glass, then fired in a kiln. Many of samples will be made for you to incorporate in your future stained glass works. No need to be a professional painter, as we will be tracing images.

If you are new to stained glass or a seasoned professional this class will appeal to you. Framing, lighting will be discussed in class, along with a “Marketing for Artists” and “Advice on Art Residencies” lecture.
