METAL FABRICATION WORKSHOP, LEITRIM SCULPTURE CENTRE

Dates: 22nd & 23rd May
Trainer: Michael O’Hara
Course Times: 10.00am – 5.00pm
Course Fees: €120 (two days)
Participants: 6
Experience: No experience required

An intensive two day tuition in metalwork with a particular focus on welding, cutting and metal fabrication (Arc, gas & TIG). The intent of the workshop is to tailor it to the specific needs and requirements of the participant and to show the versatility and application of the materials to practice. All relevant health & safety issues will also be covered. No previous experience is required.

Michael O’Hara is an artist and a part time lecturer in sculpture at Dublin Institute of Technology. O’Hara has shown extensively within Ireland and is a well known expert in metal fabrication techniques.
