RTE CRAFT MASTER – CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

RTÉ’s
hugely successful television series Craft Master is back! Produced by
Big Mountain Productions in collaboration with the Crafts Council of
Ireland and presented by Sonya Lennon, Craft Master is looking for the
best amateur Irish crafters. Do you have foundation skills in Basketry,
Millinery, Knitting, Furniture or Jewellery and want to bring it to the
next level? Aspiring apprentices will get the chance of a lifetime, with
a week-long residential masterclass with a top maker in their
discipline. An amateur maker will be crowned the nation’s Craft Master,
and win a coveted stand at Showcase – Ireland’s Creative Expo, run by
the Crafts Council of Ireland. The deadline for applications is
Wednesday 6th June 2012.
