Aoife graduated from NCAD with first class honours in 2012. She worked as an assistant for numerous Danish glass artists before taking on the role of studio manager in the Ebeltoft Glass Museum from 2015-2018. Currently, Aoife runs her own company producing functional glass and unique sculptural work. Her blown glass range is inspired by Scandinavian simplicity, and the optics of glass. Her art glass is inspired by the the interrelationship of mind and body focusing on the dysfunction of specific organs. Aoife has won numerous awards and was the Overall Emerging Maker Winner for DCCI in 2018. She has exhibited in Ireland and internationally in Denmark, China, Bulgaria, France and the USA. Aoife is a current member of the GSOI Board.
