My practice has much to do with the external. Whenever possible I work outdoors, striving to pull energy and light from my surroundings into my work.

The works are made with various materials; glass, wood and metal being my preferred media.

When speaking about my own practice, physicality, experience, and transient traces, form the core of how I deal with an idea and create a work.

During my career, I have studied, worked and exhibited in the US, Ireland and Great Britain.

UPDATE.......I am now back in Ireland living and working in Leitrim. A piece of a jigsaw has fallen into place and I have the opportunity to set up a hot glass studio again. Eco efficiency / sharing of skills / an inspirational location are my driving forces. I aspire to create a space that will inspire others to create.
